I've been out kayaking at Little Falls between Lock 6 and Chain  Bridge the 
past 3 days in a row (Fri 8/18 - Sun 8/20) and each day I've seen  Osprey 
soaring over the river in the vicinity of Brookmont Dam or immediately  downstream. 
 Friday and yesterday I saw one, Saturday I saw two.   I think one was a 
juvenile but hard to tell from a moving kayak without  binoculars!  :-)
