As I was leaving work tonight, I had to take an
unexpected side trip when I saw a "few" nighthawks
circling over the baseball fields across the road
(Freedom Park, on Raincliffe Rd.).  A few turned out
to be 30 nighthawks, maybe 40 or more - it was hard to
tell because every time I tried to count them I saw
more and more.  They were still there when I (sadly)
drove away.
