I've made a couple of morning forays to Ft. Bayard Park (in Friendship Heights, DC) already this "fall," but so far had seen plenty of nothing. Today got things off to a nice start, though--I found a nice little flock, and the first warbler in it was a nice bright BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, a new addition for my park list.
Also present were a Magnolia and a Black & White, and a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (which I'm guessing is a migrant).
