Dear All

You may recall me asking about looking for seabirds from land some months
ago - thanks to all of you who advised. It seemed that the consensus was
that Ocean City and the north end of Assateague were the best places to try
with winds over 25 mph out of the easterly quadrant.

I have not seen the right conditions for this in the last few months but
the forecasted passage of Tropical Storm Ernesto is predicted to bring 25-
30mph winds from the NE tomorrow and 45 mph wind from east to south east on
Friday. I was thinking of trying to watch from Ocean City for Friday
morning - does this sound like a good strategy? Does anyone have any
advice or care to join me?

Cheers

Gary Allport
