An atlas web site covering PG County, originally designed to solicit
atlas volunteers before the atlas, has been revised now that the atlas
observing period is nearly over, to report on atlas results for PG County.
Pages show the distribution and confirmation level of all species found
in the county by quarter-block. This visual representation supplements
what is available on the official PWRC atlas web site.
In addition, an image map of the county allows the user to find which
block a particular location is in. From there, he can find at a glance
how many species and what quarter-block coverage that block has, as well
as the name of the atlaser in charge of the bock, to whom he can send
any unreported sightings he may have. He can also link to the official
atlas and, now knowing the block name, get to the species list for that
block.
