Hi Everyone,
 
After timing my return from Chicago perfectly with the departure of our storm birds (I knew leaving the state this weekend was dangerous), I called up Hans Holbrook to see what we could turn up in Carroll Co. We were pretty happy with our luck at Piney Run Reservoir and in the Liberty Watershed. The latter was very active around dusk, and we got the feeling a lot of birds were ready to fly tonight. Here are the highlights with conservative estimates for larger numbers:
