This morning Debbie Terry and I birded the flats at Loch Raven. Most of the birds previously reported are still there. The water level is excellent for shorebirds and we saw 12 species with Stilt Sandpipers being the most impressive. The flock is very active and estimates are the best I could do for the more numerous species.

Canada Goose 16
Green-winged Teal 1
Great Blue Heron 6
Great Egret 13
Osprey 1
Bald Eagle 1 im
Semi Plover 3
Killdeer 13
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Greater Yellowlegs 3
Lesser Yellowlegs 35
Semi Sandpiper 60
Western Sandpiper 2
Least Sandpiper 100
White-rumped Sandpiper 1
Pectoral Sandpiper 6
Stilt Sandpiper 33
Short-billed Dowitcher 2
Black Tern 2
