Hi All,

Nancy and I took a tour down to Eastern Neck NWR this afternoon in hopes
of finding some storm fallout. There was some, but the birds were good,
not spectacular.

At Great Oak Pd. the Canvasback and Lesser Scaup continue, and there
were two juvenile BLACK TERNS among the swallows coursing over the pond.

At Eastern Neck we had another juvenile BLACK TERN and two COMMON TERNS
at Bogle's Wharf, and four CLIFF SWALLOWS mixed in with several Barn and
a few Bank Swallows at Ingleside. At Rock Hall harbor there were 37
COMMON TERNS, 20 Caspian Terns, 85 Forster's Terns, and yet another
young BLACK TERN. The best larid flock was in the parking lot near the
oysterman statue at the end of Caroline Avenue.

We'll be out again tomorrow morning.

Good Birding,

Walter Ellison
