For about four minutes, fellow birders and I were treated to
excellent views (within 30 feet) of a male Hooded Warbler---it was
first spotted by Derek Richardson as he exited the park. This was
followed by a report from Jeff Shenot who sighted Prairie, Tennessee,
Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green and Chestnut-sided
warblers. Also seen were the Black-and-white, numerous Magnolia and
Redstart, Perula, Bay-breasted, possible Worm-eating, Ovenbird and
Yellowthroat.

Other notable birds: Philadelphia vireo, Great Crested Flycatcher,
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, and fly-over of Red-
shouldered Hawk and Osprey. Red-eyed vireos continued in abundance.
