During my lunchtime walk around Schoolhouse Pond, I saw 3 Northern
Shovelers (2 males & 1 female). These were my first of the season at the
pond. Also present was the immature Black-crowned Night Heron, and an
actively feeding Eastern Phoebe. Only one Great Egret was present at
lunch time, but there was over a dozen early this morning.
