During a lunchtime walk today, I saw most birds in the area

of Constitution Gardens: a couple of Green Herons, a flock of

Black-and-white Warblers with a couple of Chestnut-sided

Warblers mixed, as well as several Peewees.

The DC Veterans Memorial area was being tidied up with

weed-wackers, so the birds were scant.

What I did not see: any grackles or robins! They must

be staging elsewhere.
