Hi all,
While walking the dog this morning here in Ashton, I had a mini-warbler
wave in an apple tree by the houses (well mini-wave is a relative thing, but for
here 4 species was a mini-wave). Along with a trio of chickadees, I saw 2
Chestnut-sided Warblers, a single Redstart and N. Parula, and a lone
Black-throated Green.
This spurred me to make a brief stop at Layhill Park on my way to work, but
it was rather quiet there, save for a nice YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, seen
in the first "meadow" area on the north side of the park. This is about the
3rd time I have had this species here, but my first this season.
