0710*1655 EDT: N along circumference road from dock to cross-dike (0845); doubled back and followed sprinkler pipe S across W corner of S cell; then E keeping between pond and canal nearly to cross dike (1105); to N point 1330; 1415*1555 at SW corner of water in N cell; back to dock by 1640; circa 12 km;

19 to 25 C;  NNW 15-20 km/hr at 0700; NNW to NNE 0 to 10 km/hr through day; overcast with intermittent mist, drizzle, light rain to 1030; overcast to 1315, then partly cloudy, with frequent bright sun;  Rocky Point low tide 1100, high tide 1520;  relatively little shoreflats around ponds in S cell; water in N cell pond at 36 ft, with no exposed bars or flats along inside of N cell dike; large gull & tern flocks and most shorebirds near SW corer of this pond;  several groups of smaller shorebirds feeding in puddles in muddy tracks on top of dikes;
