Dear Ospreyers,

This morning at Patterson Park blue jays and flickers were on the move after last night's cold front. The jays were heading west and the flickers were mostly going in circles! In 40 minutes I saw the following migrants:

Blue Jay	60
Northern Flicker	30
Magnolia Warbler	1
House Wren	1
Red-eyed Vireo	1
Great-crested Flycatcher	1
American Kestrel	2
Merlin	1
Sharp-shinned Hawk	1
Killdeer	1
Blue-grey Gnatcatcher	3

Keith Costley joined me at lunchtime and we added a few more birds.

Sharp-shinned Hawk	1
Brown Thrasher	7
Eastern Wood-pewee	2
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher	1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet	1
Northern Flicker	10
American Redstart	1
Common Yellowthroat	1
Wood Thrush	1
Swainson's thrush	2
Rose-breasted Grosbeak	2
