Hi All,

The Kentish Plovers will ride the pine again in an attempt to prove that 
the Tubby Cove viewing platform at Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge 
is as good as the parking lot at Eastern Neck Narrows as a Big Sit 
viewpoint. Nancy and I will be at the open platform at the end of the 
boardwalk trail at Tubby Cove from at least 7:00 AM on Sunday 8 October. 
We will be there at least until mid-afternoon (leaving at 2:00 PM at the 
earliest), so please drop by if you have a mind to. We would enjoy the 
company and the extra sets of sharp eyes and ears to search the sky, 
marsh, pines & oaks, and water for birds visible and audible from our 
perch. We hope to see you there.
