  9:00am-12:30
   Birded Rock Creek Park/Beach Drive s.Knowles Ave. Kensington
  Clear, sunny, light breeze. Plenty of birds active in the woods and along the
  creek. Came accross 1st flock of Chickadees, Titmice & Warblers:
   
  1 Chesnut sided Warbler (1st fall)
  3 Blk thrted green Warblers
  3 Parula Warblers
  1 Bay Breasted Warbler
  1 Blackburnian Warbler
  1 Magnolia  Warbler
  1 Kinglet
  1 Acadian Flycatcher
  1 Phoebe
  1 Redtail Hawk
  1 Red shouldered Hawk
   
  Encountered another flock 3/4 mi farther up the road:
  2 Blue-headed Vireos
  3-5 Ruby crowned Kinglets
  3 Black thrt Blue Warblers
  5-7 Black thrt Green Warblers
  2 Chesnut sided
  1-2 Blackburnian Warblers
  1 "Baypoll" ??
  1 B&W Warbler
  2 Phoebes
  4 Parula Warblers
  1 Yellow thrt Vireo (?)
  4-5 Magnolia Warblers
  1 Acadian Flycatcher
  white breasted Nuthatches, Downy WP,
  Carolina Wren, Chickadees
