Greetings, 

I spent two hours this afternoon poking around Turkey Point. I was surprised 
by the amount of activity, considering the weather. I was also surprised to 
see so many "winter birds."  Below are my observations in thier various 
categorized how I think of them...

"Fall/Winter Birds"
Ruby-crowned Kinglet -30
Golden-crowned Kinglet -20
Brown Creeper (F-O-S) -1
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (F-O-S) -1
White-throated Sparrow -15
Sharp-shinned Hawk -4
Cooper's Hawk -2
Merlin -1
Osprey -1
Red-tailed Hawk -1

"Summer/Fall Birds"
Laughing Gull -1
Gray Catbird -50+
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER (nice look at this bird) -1
Eastern Wood-pewee -1
Eastern Phoebe -5
Red-eyed Vireo -1
Black-throated Blue Warbler -2
Common Yellowthroat -2
Northern Parula -1
Yellow-rumped Warbler -20
Redstart -2
