An immature CONNECTICUT WARBLER was found by Jim Lemert at 8:50 AM in
the Maintenance Yard. Jim, Marjorie, and I observed the bird at eye
level for 15 minutes while it rested almost motionless on a limb from
about 12 feet away----an extraordinary view. This capped an
otherwise very slow warbler morning, We only saw two Yellow-rumps
and a Yellowthroat. Other migrants: Sapsucker, Junco, Golden-
crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Pileated Woodpeckers (3), Sharp-
shinned Hawks (2), numerous Robins and Crows. plus the usual.
