Early this crisp, sunny morning the Maintenance Yard was alive with
Robins and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. There were six warbler species:
Orange-crowned, Black-throated Green, Black-throated Blue, Magnolia,
Northern Parula, and Myrtle. The antics of a Sharp-shinned Hawk
captured much attention as it persistently harassed a Pileated
Woodpecker. We also had good views of a Blue-headed Vireo.
Unfortunately the Bullock's Oriole did not reappear at least not as
late as 10:30AM.
