Bob and all,

I was surprised on October 10 at Fort Smith Park in Arlington, VA to find a
late Traill's.  I watched it for some time before it started calling
incessantly with "pep" calls and even pieces of the song, so I feel quite
comfortable that it was an Alder.  Not sure why it was doing this, as it
appeared a little agitated though I could see no accipiters around.
