All: Sorry for the late post. Took my first-ever walk through Blue
Mash Nature Trail from 1pm-3:30pm on Monday, October 23. Totalled about
25 species, highlights of which were 4 or 5 CACKLING GEESE (I believe of
the Richardson's type) mixed in with a dozen or so Canada Geese on the
pond.

Also had four sparrow species - FIELD, SWAMP, WHITE-THROATED and
SONG--all in large numbers of half-dozen or more. Also, a possible
Savannah Sparrow.

Other sightings included Eastern Bluebird, Brown Creeper and
Red-Tailed Hawk. No Vireos or Warblers seen.

    Good Birding!
