Yesterday evening, on the way home from work, I saw 3
flocks of blackbirds flying across 295. The first
(largest) one I saw while I was stuck in the crawl of
traffic trying to merge onto 295. The stream
stretched out as far as I could see in either
direction, and in the several minutes I was sitting
there it seemed the flock was neverending. I love
fall blackbird flocks! I think the first one I saw
was all grackles, but I'm never really sure...
