Hi Folks,

Months ago the below messages aired on this listserve.  It took a while, but
a couple weeks ago I actually completed the process of getting an (other)
MOS tag.  The steps:

1.    buy a car
2.    Contact the MOS treasurer, Emmy Holdridge, and have her send the
appropriate form for the tags.  Her email                  address is:

3.    Wait 4-6 weeks until your title comes in the mail
4.    Fill in the form with appropriate info from your title, registration,
etc.
5.    Take the completed form and $15 (cash, check, credit card) to the
Specialty Tag section of your favorite MVA facility, and voila!--they will
create the next tags for you right there (I don't know how they do this, but
I didn't have to wait for mine).
6.    After putting the new tags on the car, don't forget to take the
existing tags back to MVA soon, or they may get nasty.

My new tag # is only 7 more than on the tags I got five years ago, so these
tags move rather slowly.
