I too have been seeing common yellow throats in downtown DC lately - West End, around 24th and M, in front of the Fairmont Hotel also ruby crowned.kinglets. A couple weeks ago I saw what I am almost certain was a Yellow Throated Warbler in the same spot.

I saw the following birds at the National Arboretum this morning.
Sharp-shinned Hawk - meadow near columns
Merlin - meadow near columns
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Hairy Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe - near columns
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Hermit Thrush
Blue-headed Vireo - azalea garden
Palm Warbler - several near columns
Eastern Towhee
Chipping Sparrow - about 50-60, mostly between woods and bonsai garden
Fox Sparrow - 2 in the Azalea Garden
Song Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Also, I have been seeing Common Yellowthroats down by the Indian Museum
this week. Yesterday, there were also Ruby-crowned Kinglets and a Hermit
Thrush. On Wednesday morning there was a Winter Wren in the museum's
pumpkin patch.
