Hi Everyone,

I spent most of the day birding ponds and backroads in western Maryland. The highlight was definitely spotting my first NORTHERN GOSHAWK soar by at Town Hill (~1:00 p.m.). Tundra Swans are on the move, with sightings at several locations and a number of high-flying V-formations. Coots, Ruddies, and Bufflehead were also around in numbers. Here's the rundown on noteworthy birds for the day:
