Greetings,

Pat Valdata, a couple from Delaware, and I enjoyed thousands upon
thousands of waterfowl and other "swimming birds" in Perryville (Cecil County)
this afternoon. 11 waterfowl species were noted, as well as at least 2000
(probably more) American Coot, 150+ Pied-billed Grebe, and two or three
Double-crested Cormorant. The waterfowl included: Mute Swan, Canada
Goose, Mallard, A. Black Duck, A. Wigeon, Gadwall, Ring-necked Duck,
Canvasback (30-50), Redhead (30-50), Ruddy Duck, and Bufflehead (15-20). I
also found a lone Greater Yellowlegs way up in the head of Mill Creek wading in
the mud. As well, three Forster's Terns were flying around. Later in the
evening I found more Mallards, Black Duck, and 20 or so Wood Duck in the
Hances Point area of the North East, River.

No Inca dove however!

Good Birding,
