 Hello
At about 10:00am today I took a walk down to Wilde Lake to look around. At first I just saw some 'every-day' birds, Great Blue Heron, Canada Goose, Mallard, Ring-necked Duck, a soaring Turkey Vulture, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, American Crow, Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Wren, and 2 Song Sparrows.
I was going to leave, thinking that I at least saw those birds, but then I thought that, 'I'll take a walk by the stream, though I'm pretty sure that there won't be anything more than what I've seen already.' But after not walking to far I did see a Hermit Thrush. It flew up and landed on a branch not very away so I got a good look at it through my binoculars. It was the first one I had ever seen.
