Following up on the interesting geese reported by Schreitz and Hubick, I made an early run to Sandy Point State Park this morning. The large puddles on beach were devoid of any geese or gulls, but a nince consolation was 2 SNOW BUNTINGS flying about the beach and rock jetties.
On the way out I could see hundreds of Canada Geese in the East Beach area, but the road was blocked and I didn't have time to park and walk around. Maybe another day.
