An extremely large flock of geese passed over Rose Haven about 12:15am.  I thought I heard goose noises and went outside to see, and I had indeed heard honking, I heard LOTS more honking (2 note honk) -- the honking was amazing and went on for at least 2-3 minutes solid as several waves passed over heading toward the bay,  toward Fairhaven I think; they were rather low flying it seemed and very loud. I could hear them the entire 15 minutes or so I was outside.  I wish I had night vision, it must have been amazing looking, it sounded pretty amazing.
   
  Must have been Canda Goose? It didn't sound quite like them, but then again, I've never heard hundreds at once before either.
