I swung by Hains Pt this morning (Fri, 11/17) to see what the rain might have brought in, but the gate was closed.  Driving back up along the Washington Channel, I scanned the Mallards and found an adult male PINTAIL - most certainly the same bird that Kurt S. had at the Constitution Gardens two days ago.  That's 197 for my DC year list - hoping for 3 more before the end of the year.
