This morning there was one first-year Bonaparte's Gull at the Little Patuxent
Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve.

Another winter visitor that has arrived in the past few days is the Ruddy Duck.

The rain Thursday night raised the level of the water in the lake about 2'.
We're hoping that as the water recedes back into the Little Patuxent that the
beaver dam will hold. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Trumpeter Swan #960 remains at the Oxbow.
