A few miinutes ago my son came in to ask if the gt. white heron was on my yard list ? (Goodness, he has caught on!)

Well, now it is -- the heron is standing on a leaf-covered gully about 25 yards from the pond where Sherman reported him last weekend.

Unfortunately, of course, this misplaced morph is NOT a new species to my yard list. (The great blue heron regularly flies over. )
