Hi all,

I know it's a bit late. I had to deal with
duty-crew night work at the firehouse after dinner
yesterday and ran two pre-dawn calls this morning
preventing me to do birding out of town. So I'm stuck
at home watching from yard and cutting more dead
trees.
I know you're all familiar with paved road led to
old observation tower at Blackwater that is loaded
with passerines. But yesterday, there are only 1
Red-bellied Woodpecker and 1 Brown-headed Nuthatch
there. Found the missing flocks at new Key Wallace
Trail. It's 2.7 mile loop trail at corner of Key
Wallace Dr and Egypt Rd. Very nice area, same with
Tubman Road Trail, but covers with water.
Relocated the Lincoln's Sparrow, but a bit closer to
parking lot between Marker #3 and #4. Nearly most of
the sparrows can be found between Marker #2 & #5. The
pelicans had left early that morning headed S before I
arrived.
