What I enjoyed was learning how rare Ospreys are in England--it's fun when
a really common bird for us is a rarity elsewhere.
I was also interested to learn how concerned they are about the
decline of the House Sparrow.
Maybe we should try to find out why they're declining there, and
apply those methods here? ;-)
Here in Maryland I'm watching Chickadees and Nuthatches battling
among themselves and
each other for breakfast. They seem feistier this year for some reason.
