Good morning,
As I am writing this the first Purple Finch for our yard is sitting on our
feeder alongside two male House Finches. It looks like a female, but is
most likely a first-year bird and difficult to sex at this point.

I am hoping the Fredrick Co. N. Shrike will grace me with its presence
later this morning.
