A BROWN THRASHER was scratching around in leaves under azalea bushes 
in our back yard in West Bethesda, Montgomery County, yesterday 
morning, November 25th.  Today around midday it was perched on our 
deck rail, and subsequently dove into some bushes.

This is only the fourth record of Thrasher for our back yard since 
1972!  Our entire lot is only 1/7th of an acre in size, so there 
aren't too many places to hide.
