Yes, but that doesn't mean the answer is to increase the number of
hunters; the answer is to fund the expansion of habitat by some
mechanism that would work better in today's world. This reminds me of
the myth that some people can't get health insurance *because* their
employer doesn't provide it - just because that's the way it's always
been done.
