MDOspreyers,
Pasted below is a report that showed up on PA-Birds this AM regarding cave
Swallows observed in southern PA yesterday afternoon along the Susquehanna
River heading south. If they stick with the river, they should be passing past
Conowingo and into the Chesapeake if they have not done so already. The
reporters are reliable.

PA Birders,
I received a call from Deuane Hoffman yesterday (11/30) afternoon around 4
PM, that he had observed a pair of Cave Swallows along the Susquehanna
River in Dauphin Co. They were seen in the area near the "statue of liberty".
The birds did not stay in the area long and were noted flying south.
The strong storm that is to pass through the state today accompanied by a
drastic change in temperature and increased westerly winds may produce more
Cave Swallow reports as well as other western rarities - Ash-throated
Flycatcher, Bell's Vireo, MacGillivray's Warbler, Western Tanager etc. as well
some reports of our regular fall migrants that may have drifted back north
again taking advantage of the persistent warm temperatures and south winds.
It might be a good time to find some very late scarlet tanagers, and eastern
warblers.
Good Birding,
