Colleen Meeny and I spent yesterday afternoon birding lower Dorchester
County. Highlights being (1) Eurasian Collared Dove seen at its regular
spot on Hooper's Island. The bird was seen perched in a Locust Tree for a
few minutes and then flew behind the house out of sight. 13 Sanderlings
with 3 Dunlin were seen working the rip-rap before the bridge to the lower
island. Several small flocks of Tree Swallows were seen flying with no
other swallow species. 7 Willets were also observed. The White Pelicans
were also present at Blackwater NWR.

Today at Hurlock WTP there were two Bonaparte's Gulls. In the town of
Choptank in Caroline County 1 Fox Sparrow was observed in a White-throat
flock.
