There is a strange malady going round, commonly known as Christmas Count
fever. The only known cure is to
click on the link below and find the Christmas Count nearest to you. Join
the fun and hopefully meet with the
group at the end of the day -- and this condition should be cured (although
for some it takes doing several
Counts for a complete cure).

Here is the link on the M.O.S. website for all Christmas Counts:
           http://www.mdbirds.org/counts/xmas/xmas.html

If you have never done the Ocean City Christmas Count, well, it's one of the
top counts in the nation;
the quality of birders coming from all over the state is just astounding.
It's a bit of a haul to get there,
but is incredibly rewarding, as it covers areas from the Pocomoke River to
Assateague Island. This
is just an incredible range of habitat, and always the possibility for
something real interesting.

Of course, other counts have there own rich values. So join the fun.

     Good Birding!
