The Barnacle Goose was not present when Mikey Lutmerding and I looked 
for it around 11 am this morning.  Jim Stasz told me if flew off to the 
south in a group of about 20 Canadas.  It was back at the lake later 
this afternoon (just after 4:00 pm) and was still there when I left the 
group at 4:40 pm.  Keith Lott, JoAnna Leachman, Mikey Lutmerding, Mike 
Burchette, Jim Stasz, and a van-load of FSU students were still there 
when I left.  The FSU students were passing through and spotted the 
group of us standing there.  Dr. Serfass probably recognized Mikey or 
JoAnna.

Its a pretty spectacular bird !  BTW Phil ... I'm pretty sure it wasn't 
a close out for Jim.  I think he was initially disappointed that it 
wasn't a Cackling Goose.
