A Great Blue Heron was present on the Koi pond in front of Dept. of Interior,
C St., NW, between 18th and 19th this morning about 7:30.  

I haven't been to Constitution Gardens, so don't know if the adult GB Heron
that has been frequenting the patch of cattails just west of the island is still
hanging out.  The bird at Interior looked some how less than fully adult to me.
