This morning an adult Bald Eagle was perched high in a Sycamore tree on the golf course
near the tip of Hain's Point on the channel side. When viewed from the river side looking
northeast, the eagle and the dome of the Capitol filled my binoculars. Perfect.

An adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was also present, sitting on the railing on the channel
side, also approaching the tip, in the company of Ring bills.

Good birding.
