The Perryville Red-head was in the park this afternoon around 3:30.
It obligingly hopped down onto a picnic table, giving me the chance to
see that its throat is turning red just in time for the holidays.

Also present were several hundred Scaup and the usual complement
of American Coots, Buffleheads, and Ruddies. Many other ducks were
too far out to identify.

Also, on the far shore, about 50 large white birds
that might have been swans--couldn't tell without a scope.

The sailboat that ran aground is still out there, listing over at low tide.

Have a very happy holiday season, everyone!
