A. white pelican continues

It is still here (Jug Bay).  It is still below the RR crossing, resting on the AA 
side, at the closest part of the cove to the RR crossing.  Probably visible from 
both AA and PG at the moment.  It would be about a 10 minute walk from the 
Jug Bay Wetland Sanctuiary's HQ to get down to one of the viewing areas.  
Th ebest bet to see fro PG side (Pax. River Park) would be from the overlook 
at the park's HQ at Jackson Landing.

I also just saw a small flock of red-breasted mergansers.  They are uncommon 
here, and this was the biggest group I recall ever seeing.  There were 16 (14 
male and 2 female), swimming downstream in the middle of the river channel.
