My apolgies for my earlier forwarding.  

Eric Skrzypczak reported an Ovenbird along the C&O Canal.  Hans
checked out his website and noted that the bird he had there (not
the bird along the canal) labeled as "Ovenbird" was indeed a Hermit
Thrush.  When I pointed this out to Eric, he sent me a lovely
picture of a Hermit Thrush taken a few days ago along the C&O Canal.
He agrees that both birds were misidentified.
