The Somerset County Tropical Kingbird, present NW of Princess Anne, was
there from 2-3 P.M. on December 31, well seen repeatedly as it foraged
actively. Full description later on. Seen from the intersection of
Reading Ferry Road X Adler's Rest Lane on the S side of the house on the E
side of Reading Ferry Road (14155, but hard to read on the mailbox; keep a
respectful distance from the house) c. 100 yards away. Linda Schwartz,
Timothy Thompson, Jared Sparks, and I arrived at 2. Wade Stephen was
already there and pointed it out. He got at least 1 photograph.

Already a great day, therefore, but then Dallas loses and the Eagles win.

On my 2000 Maryland DeLorme atlas the location is on Map 33 at coordinates
5 c. halfway between C & D. A curiosity ... on the other side of Wicomico
Creek there is a road that presumably is a continuation of Reading Ferry
Road but is indicated as Redden Ferry Road, perhaps one of those
intentional mistakes mapmakers slip in, then if someone else uses them they
are in violation of copyright.

Best to all.-Henry ("Harry") T. Armistead, 523 E. Durham St., Philadelphia,
