A pleasant, three hour walk in spring-like weather was incredibly unrewarding; logging
only seventeen (17) spp. of birds. A saving grace was several rather unusual sightings
for this area.

Canada Goose~15
Mallard~20
BLACK DUCK--2 (pr.)
HOODED MERG--4 (1m, 3f)
HERRING GULL--1
RB Gull--2
Mourning Dove--3
RB W'pkr--3
YB SAPSUCKER--1 (heard only)
A Crow~4
C C'dee--5
T Tit--1
WB Nuthatch--1
N Cardinal~5
WT Sparrow~7
FOX SPARROW--1
MERLIN--1 first seen taking it's aft'n ablutions, then perched overhead for the
requisite "comb-out" (preening); a nice, final touch
