Details on the Clay-colored Sparrow mentioned by Matt yesterday...

The Clay-colored Sparrow was at the previously described Dickcissel
location on Bulle Rock Pkwy in Havre de Grace (description include
at bottom). I would expect that the bird would be easily 're-locatable'
as Dave Webb and I visited a little later in the day to find nice
viewing/photographing opportunities (I'm happy to share photos
upon request). Unfortunately, the previously reported Dickcissel
was a miss on both Saturday and Sunday.
Note that, from the pull-in, it is easiest to proceed down the
hedgerow by walking along the grassy 'fallow field side' of the silt
fence (as opposed to the muddy construction side). Pass the
part of the hedgerow where the woody vegetation reduces to all
briars and then use the open path to cut across the hedgerow into
the field. The Clay-colored was occupying the aforementioned 'all
briar' section of the hedgerow.

Cheers,

Dave

Rock Pkwy from Rt. 155. The road begins across 155 from
about midway between Lapidum Landing Rd and the 95
Park-and-Ride. After passing an unmarked office building you'll
see a gravel pull-in to an excavation site on the right hand side.
From there you'll easily see the hedgerow and fallow corn field."
