This morning I returned to Hashawha Environmental Center / Bear Branch Nature Center. Yesterday (1/13) on a nature center field trip naturalist Mary Schmidt found an Ovenbird there and also a Phoebe. I could not find either this morning. Other birds today:

Canada Goose  3
Goldeneye  1 female, or possibly immature male

Richardson Road thickets:

White-crowned Sparrow  3

New Windsor Wetlands:

Canada Goose  2
Mallard  28
Great Blue Heron  1
SNIPE  2, flushed
Winter Wren  1 heard
Song Sparrow  6
Swamp Sparrow  1
White-crowned Sparrow  8, some singing
